How to Place an Order
Placing an order with Rest in Glass couldn't be easier!
As you browse through our store, start by adding any items you are interested in to your cart. This is done by clicking on the "Add to Cart" button which can be found next to every item. Adding an item to your cart does not obligate you to purchase it. You can delete items from your cart at any time.
Our shopping cart is provided by PayPal. However, you do not need a PayPal account to pay.
When you are ready to make your purchase, go the "View Cart" page, then click the "View Cart" button. This will allow you to review the items in your cart.
When you are ready to checkout, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button. If you already have a PayPal account, simply enter your email and PayPal password. If you don't have a PayPal account, you will be asked for your name, address, email, phone number and credit card information.
Please note that we will never see your credit card information or password. That information is maintained only by PayPal, which is a secure system for making internet purchases.
As soon as payment is made, PayPal notifies us of your purchase. Within 24 hours, we will send you an email with instructions on how to forward the ashes of your loved one or pet to us. Basically, you will need to send a small amount (a quarter teaspoon) of the ashes in a ziploc plastic bag placed in a bubble padded envelope, to the specified address.
Upon receipt of the ashes, we will get to work on creating your customized pendant or pendants. This process takes around two weeks.
When complete, we will mail the pendants to you via United States Postal Service Priority Mail. We will also return any ashes which were not needed.
