About Our Pendants All of our memorial pendants are created with dichroic fused glass. Dichroic glass is a special type of glass with special reflective properties. The colors are brilliant and will produce different effects and colors, depending on the angle at which it is viewed. Each pendant is hand assembled using art and dichroic glass, and is kiln fired at least three times to achieve a smooth durable finish. The ashes of your loved one are sprinkled within the pendant for permanence. Our pendants have an 18k Gold plated or Sterling Silver plated bail attached to the back, allowing you to wear the pendant with a chain of your choice. These bails are extra large and will allow for a chain up to 3/16 inch in diameter. All of our square pendants are approximately 1 inch wide by 1 inch high. Hearts are approximately 7/8 inch wide by 1 inch high. All photos on this website show the pendants without ashes. Your pendant will appear slightly different when ashes are added in. Also, due to the composition of the ashes, there may be small bubbles in your pendant, so it will not be as uniform as the color samples shown. Please CLICK HERE if you would like to see examples of finished pendants with ashes. Also note that all photos are only approximations of the finished product. The pendant you will receive will have the same colors, but the exact pattern of how the colors appear will vary from pendant to pendant. All of our pendants are designed, assembled and fused by Lisa Rockoff in her home studio, using materials of the highest quality. Our goal has been to create items with a distinctive artistic design, superb craftsmanship and a unique personal touch. |
